This morning as I was spending time with Jesus, He reminded me to “Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” Psalm 27: 14 I’m not very good at waiting! I like to know what’s going to happen and right away. But in waiting on Him, He strengthens my heart. That’s encouraging!
While I wait for my visa to be approved, the Lord has opened up opportunities here. I now get to attend 2 birthday parties of my niece and nephew that I would have missed. I get to lead worship at my church. I get to help my mom paint and redecorate one of the rooms in my parents’ house. I get to visit my brother at IHOP (International House of Prayer) again. I get to experience fall including the turning of leaves, orchards and apple cider! And I have more time to study Portuguese.
I look forward to what else will come about during this time of waiting. The Lord is always good and His plan is perfect. So, I will continue to wait!
